Welcome The
Canyon Lake Art Guild (CLAG) is a non-profit association, existing for
charitable and educational purposes and to stimulate general interest
in art. CLAG was established in 1984 and continues to be involved as a creative, ongoing presence in the community.Principal activities are paint days, classes, workshops, field trips, and "The Artist Way" study group; also, collaborating with local schools, senior and youth activity centers and the Chamber of Commerce. Great pride is taken each year in presenting a month-long art show in New Braunfels, TX. The Artist of the Month places his/her work in the community at Tye Preston Memorial Library, Wells Fargo Bank and the First State Bank in Sattler. Members participating in Seasonal Displays hang works for three months at , Spud's and Flap Jacks, in Sattler, and New Braunfels Cardiology, in New Braunfels. Each year the Guild proudly awards an art scholarship to a graduating high school senior. ALL ARE WELCOME!  The above painting is The Lamb by Franz Marc (1913-1914).
